• Abstract Company assessment is a critical process of evaluating an organizations performance in some of its major processes. Companies can use various assessment tools to evaluate aspects such as strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities among others. Some of the most common assessment tools include expanded -7S framework, balanced scorecard, SWOT and PESTLE analysis. Expanded -7S framework for monitoring and assessing organizations’ internal situation changes, while balanced scorecard is used to assess strategic performance of companies. SWOT and PESTEL analyses are used to assess organizations internal and external environment. Since of each of these tools have various strengths and weaknesses, it is important to use a combination of these assessment techniques to effectively evaluate organizations’ performance
