NURSING 6050Assignment: Legislation Grid and Testimony/Advocacy Statement
Nurses have a responsibility to advocate and care for all patients. Although this may
require quality care, patient education and meeting the needs of patient, some of the provisions
may require a policy or legislation. However, nurses are considered to have less knowledge of the
political arena, but politics may help to initiate change and advocating for better patient’s needs.
This paper will explore bill on health care and complete a comparison grid about the bill. Further,
I will focus on a legislative testimony/advocacy statement about my position on the proposed bill
