Introduction - Water Day Masters
In the study of Chinese Metaphysics, the Water element usually pertains to
intelligence, wisdom and IQ. Water of course is also known for its ability to move,
flow and change forms. And Water is capable of harboring a thousand and one
secrets.
There are 2 types of Water Day Masters: Ren ͆ Water and Gui ࠯Water.
Of the two, Ren Water Day Masters are usually robust and on the move. Due
to their inherently restless nature, however, they tend to become distracted easily.
Intelligent and adaptive, they are virtually unstoppable when they put their mind
to a task. Ren Water Day Masters can, however, be rather rebellious and nonconformist.
Gui Water Day Masters tend to be imaginative and creative, and make good
teachers and educationists. They are also not the type to remain still, although
they are usually introverted by nature.
Since a certain amount of visualization or the ability to picture the Five Elements
– or Wu Xing ̣Җ - is required in order to truly master BaZi, think of large,
massive bodies of water whenever Ren Water is mentioned. Think of the world’s
great oceans or roaring rapids, such as Niagara Falls. And imagine the power they
generate to the extent that we are even able to harness these massive bodies of
water for useful intents such as hydroelectric energy. Unsurprisingly, Ren Water
Day Masters are usually intelligent, adaptive, extroverted and rebellious.
Likewise, where Gui Water is concerned, think of the mists, dew and rain; which
are examples of Yin and hence softer, gentler bodies of water. Gui Water Day
Masters are hence imaginative, creative and introverted characters by nature, who
also make good teachers and mentors.
Ren (͆) Water
Day Master
Overview:
Ren ͆ Water is Yang Water. One can therefore think or picture Ren
Water as massive, converging bodies of water, such as the world’s
great oceans, lakes and waterfalls.
As such, Ren Water people – just like the water of the river and sea
– are always on the move. Adaptive, intelligent and usually unable to
remain still, Ren Water people are often extroverts by nature. They
always tend to be on the move, but also run the risk of becoming
easily distracted and lacking focus.
Being adventurous people, Ren Water types usually enjoy robust, even
physical, activities to keep them occupied. Indeed, whenever they put
their mind to it, Ren Water people can be unstoppable in their quest
to complete or perfect something. Nevertheless, they are also often
rebellious by nature and dislike being made to conform.
