The Coca-Cola Company uses video commercial to advertise their drink product “Coke”. This commercial was mainly advertising toward the young adult. They use the polar bears as their main character in the commercial to persuade people to buy Coke. In the commercial, the setting was at night in the North or South Pole. The polar bears were watching TV at first, but then one of the polar bears felt bored. He saw other polar bears were drinking Coke. He got so excited and wanted to join them. Other polar bears threw him a bottle of Coke; he was too excited that he began sliding through the icy pond. Even though in that situation, he still did not let go the bottle of Coke. The polar bear was eager to have the bottle of Coke, which influenced others to have their very own Coke. This commercial uses ethos, pathos and logos effectively to persuade the audience to buy Coke. The first appeal is ethos, which is used to convince the viewers to buy Coca-Cola Company drinking product Coke. The commercial was supported by using cute and white polar bear for the company. The polar bears attract the eye of young adults, which makes them feel connected to the company. This connection made people want to buy the product, which the sales grow exponentially. Coca-Cola is one of the most famous drinking product companies, which many celebrities buy along with other consumers. In my opinion, Coca-Cola Company uses polar bears as the commercial’s main character to get more young adults attention, to come and buy this drinking product Coke.
