t sounds inspiring to imagine how did those talented people, who grew up in one the least privileged communities in United States, had achieved a massive acceptance by just spinning their heads on the floor, throwing themselves in the air, and making waves on their bodies. Together with the emerging sounds and inventions of the 19th century, the Hiphop culture eventually became a popular topic which brought excitement to the era where injustice and exploitation were seriously prevalent, and which brought hope to newer generations. As inspiring as those talented people, the documentary “The Freshest Kids: The History of the B-boy” features the ‘freshest’ or pioneers of Hiphop such as Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa, Ken Swift, and many more and explores the time from where the culture started, the up and downs, and how it manages to build its influence until now.
