A flat plate was subjected to tension. The specimen was instrumented with a number of electrical resistance strain gages at various orientations to the load direction as shown in Figure 1. The member cross-section properties are shown in the figure. The specimen was subjected to load while recording all strain readings. A data file with load and strain records have been distributed separately. These data are to be used to complete this worksheet.
