I am not having the Standard Lab Kit that was provided by SJSU. I have tried sourcing the components locally, and have been able to source most of them. My sincere apologies for the inconvenience so caused. Experiment #1: I have tried sourcing the components locally, however I could organize the light bulb as required, it has blown up because its voltage rating was 3 V only. Hence, as per your advice, I have performed the experiment with an LED and made a slight change to the circuit with an additional limiting resistor of 100 ohms in series with the LED.(as shown in the circuit diagram below). Observations: 1. I used MOSFET IRF540N (n-channel) instead of the recommended MOSFET IRF640A (n-channel) for the reason mentioned above. The Resistance between Terminal G and Terminal S of MOSFET IRF540N shows overrange on the DMM. 2.
