Project Summary
Gamer Browser is a search engine system, which will allow gamers or who has interest
on games to search games based on the keywords they typed. This system has three basic
functions. They are searching, categorize and ranking. Based on the keywords the users
selected, the engine will provide a list with relevant games and show them by a descending
rank way.
Background
Video games has been become a large share of entertainment for nowadays people.
Especially in recent isolated days, it is one of the few entertainments we have. However,
video games’ qualities are very a lot. Some excellent work will consume years to complete.
Even for these excellent and fascinating games, most of their play time will not go over a
thousand hours. In another words, it take years to come out one extraordinary game but only
has one thousand hour lifetime. In addition, it is hard for game hobbyists to know which
games they would be interested before them buying it. They are many ways to figure out if
the game is what the game hobbyist wants. The first way is the game type. Games hobbyists
will be most likely have interest on the game which is the same type of game as their favorite
games. For example, if a game hobbyist treats “PUBG” as his or her favorite game, he or she
will also be more likely to have interest on “APEX” or “Fortnite”, which are both simila
