Abstract
Online E-Voting has been from an area of research from many a year, the major stake
of validation of the votes is in the credibility of the technology or a solution lies
tallying. Moreover, the transactions must be Secure. In this research, it has been made
to see the impact of Blockchain Technology on Securing the Online Electoral Voting
Systems.
Building a secure electronic voting system that offers the fairness and privacy of
current voting schemes, while providing the transparency and flexibility offered by
electronic systems has been a challenge for a long time. In this work-in-progress
paper, we will evaluate an application of blockchain as a service to implement
distributed electronic voting systems.
Blockchain itself has not been introduced as a concept to the world, but as an
application of Bitcoin which has the revolution in the Fintech, the impact of Bitcoin
has shown the credibility of Blockchain. The key feature of the blockchain is it is
decentralized. Which makes the data not be stored in one single place, but to distribute
all around the network for securing the data.
In a decentralized setup, there is no wrong. In this way, a programmer cannot attack
the frame even if it attacks a single block in the frame that cannot affect the frame.

The most widely recognized danger that all the e-administrations endure from is
security. The web-based democratic stage can resolve this issue with the usage of
blockchain innovation in it.
1. Introduction
This project aims to outline our proposal for solving the digital voting by using
blockchain technology. The project starts with a brief explanation of what blockchain
technology is and how it is currently used.
This will proposes a novel electronic voting system based on blockchain that
addresses some of the limitations in existing systems and evaluates some of the
popular blockchain frameworks for the purpose of constructing a blockchain-based evoting system.
El Gamal homomorphic encryption along with ring signature is used to build a
Blockchain based E-voting system. Decentralization, non-iterative and other
blockchain properties will also be taken into consideration
